Cincinnati’s Ronald McDonald House provides a supportive “home away from home” for families and their children who are receiving life–saving treatment at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Keeping our House stocked with the basic necessities of a home requires a lot of donated food and supplies. 78 families every day (±1,500 families each year) are able to call Cincinnati’s Ronald McDonald House their “home.” Any group or individual may collect these items to donate to our House. Items in bold indicate most needed items.

Change War

This is a very simple fundraising idea for any team, especially in an office or school. Our House uses the money raised to pay for the expenses associated with the care and stay of families whose children are hospitalized. The object of the game is for each team to raise more money than their competition.

Hero Packs

Donating a House Hero Pack is a quick and easy way to give our House the items guest families need the most. Our House serves 78 families each night resulting in a huge need for daily items. We accept only NEW and UNUSED items. If you have something else in mind that you don't see listed, either as part of the hero pack or on our wish list, please contact us. We'll let you know if it is something we can use.

Care Packages

Care Packages are a wonderfully thoughtful way to provide some basic necessities for our parents during this very stressful time. When a child is ill and headed off to an out-of-town hospital, parents may not have the time to stop and think about packing something as basic as a bar of soap. Their thoughts are only on making sure their child gets well. To welcome all our families to Ronald McDonald House and to help them with these basic necessities, we provide each family that comes through our doors with a Welcome Bag. Your gift of a Care Package helps make this possible.
