Unicorn Party

When Catie found out she was getting out of the hospital on a pass to visit our House, where her family has been staying, she was beyond excited. Catie loves unicorns and mentioned wanting a tea party. When volunteer Mary overheard, she went to work. Inspired by Catie, Mary wanted all of our families to come together for a little “magical” fun.

Just a few days later, staff, volunteers and families came together for cups of tea, unicorn hot chocolate, unicorn cookies and had many laughs over finding their unicorn names.

The unicorn party was about more than unicorns. It was about bringing families together to have a little fun, to make memories with their children and to bring much-needed smiles. That is our goal every day at Cincinnati’s Ronald McDonald House. Please enjoy the pictures from this magical day.

Unicorns aren’t the only magical thing our families need! By making a gift to our House, you are helping thousands of families with sick children be close to each other and to the critical care their children need. Thank you for honoring our families in this way.
