We’re thrilled to announce that our Ronald McDonald House was recently honored as the 2017 non-profit recipient of the Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics. This award, part of the Cincinnati BBB’s Center for Ethics, recognizes organizations that are committed to ethical practices. After receiving the award, our executive director, Jennifer Goodin, said:
“To me, this award recognizes the dedicated work that our staff, board and volunteers do every day to make sure that we carry out the values and integrity of our House in all that we do. Whether we are following through on a donor’s request or resolving an issue for a guest family, we make sure that every decision we make is fair, equitable and honest.”
This is the second time that we have received this award, having first earned it in 2006. We are honored to be the only non-profit to receive the award twice and want to thank the community for their trust in our work.
