We’re a Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics Winner

We’re thrilled to announce that our Ronald McDonald House was recently honored as the 2017 non-profit recipient of the Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics. This award, part of the Cincinnati BBB’s Center for Ethics, recognizes organizations that are committed to ethical practices. After receiving the award, our executive director, Jennifer Goodin, said:

Our Healthy House Project

At our House, providing a safe and clean environment is critical so that children with weakened immune systems can feel comfortable enjoying any space in our House. Our rock garden ROCKS!

Smiles for Summer Camp!

Summer is a time for children to relax, take a break from the routine school day to be kids again.  While that’s true for typical children, for patients living in our House, there is no break from their reality of being sick. While their children are being treated next door at Cincinnati Children’s, 78 families from around the world live in our House. During a time of year when kids are exploring and making summer memories, we try to provide children in our House with a unique experience that will bring fun when they need it most. (more…)
